Apply or reapply for a Blue Badge

Find out how to apply or reapply for a Blue Badge disabled parking permit step-by-step.

A Blue Badge will help you to park close to your destination.

You can apply for a badge:

  • for yourself
  • on behalf of somebody else
  • on behalf of an organisation

A Blue Badge costs £10 and is usually valid for 3 years.

Blue Badges are not automatically renewed. You must reapply.

You can reapply for a Blue Badge up to 18 weeks before your badge expires.

We recommend reapplying early so you can continue using your badge.
