Apply for a marriage or civil partnership certificate

Before you apply please have the following information to hand:

• details of the couple (full name of both partners, date and place of marriage or civil partnership)
• your name, address and contact details
• payment information
• reason for request and any other comments to assist with our search

Important note: We are only able to accept applications via this site for marriages and civil partnerships that took place in Suffolk. To avoid additional cost and inconvenience please check this point carefully before proceeding.

Please note that we are not able to accept pre-orders for certificates for Church weddings.
