Report an issue to Trading Standards

Report a scam, faulty product or poor service to the Citizens Advice consumer service. Find out what happens after you report a problem.

You can report a trader, an unsafe product or a scam to Trading Standards via our partners the Citizens Advice consumer service:

What happens after you've reported something

The Citizens Advice consumer service will assess your report and share the information with the local Trading Standards department so that we can tackle wider problems with businesses at a local level. 

We might take action to stop the trader from acting unfairly, for example, by educating them about the law.

If necessary, we may take legal action against them to stop them from trading completely.
