• landowner deposits made under section 31(6) of the Highways Act 1980
• legal orders that have been made in Suffolk

How to use the map

Getting started

1. When you open the map, you will see a disclaimer
2. Read the disclaimer and tick the box to confirm that you understand it
3. Use the 'view map' button once you have ticked the box

 Using the map

1. The map will open showing Stowmarket
2. You can move the map by dragging
3. You can zoom in with your mouse or the + and - buttons
4. The home button will take you back to a map of Stowmarket
5. You can use the search field to find an address or place
6. Zoom in if you can't see information on the map. Some information is only visible when zoomed in.

Map layers and key

There are four layers you can see on the map.

• Public rights of way
• Applications to modify the definitive map
• Legal orders in progress
• Section 31(6) landowner deposits

You can see all layers by default.

You can untick any layers you don't want to see.

• Solid green lines show footpaths
• Dashed blue lines show bridleways
• Dashed orange lines show restricted byways
• Dashed red lines show byways open to all traffic
• Shaded turquoise areas show section 31(6) landowner deposits
• Purple dashed lines with purple dots show applications to modify the definitive map and statement
• Green dashed lines with green dots show legal orders in progress
