Our public consultation for Suffolk’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy is now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part.

We are reviewing the feedback and will use it to create the final strategy.

As per Defra guidelines, we will publish the feedback and our responses in due course.

Next steps

We are reviewing all the feedback and will incorporate it into the final draft of the LNRS as appropriate.

The document will be reviewed and approved by the Suffolk County Council Cabinet.

The LNRS will also be sent to our Supporting Authorities for another consultation period. This lasts 28 days.

We expect publication of Suffolk’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy to be in Autumn 2025.
