Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Police are pleased to support the Award and to encourage individuals and agencies to develop supportive interventions that reduce the harm experienced by victims and survivors.
Nominations are welcomed from any of the VAWG strands, which are defined by the Home Office as:
There is a recognition that there is a disproportionate impact on women and girls but that men and boys are also affected by these issues.
The Award recognises individuals or organisational innovation, achievement and commitment, in developing and maintaining projects, initiatives and solutions for victims and survivors of violence and abuse.
