Southwold Animal Rescue

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to an animal rescue incident near Southwold shortly before 12.45pm on Saturday 22 August.

Firefighters attended following reports of a cow that had become stuck in a stream. The animal remained mobile but was unable to leave the water unaided.

Crews worked to locate the animal and co-ordinated with the farmer to develop a safe rescue plan.

The cow was successfully removed from the stream and returned safely to its herd.

The stop message was received at 2.47pm.
