Large vehicle fire on Peto Way, Lowestoft

Firefighters have been mobilised to a heavy goods vehicle fire involving a 44 tonne articulated lorry carrying frozen goods.

Crews from Wrentham and Lowestoft South are in attendance at a lorry fire.

Firefighters are using breathing apparatus and hose jets (x2) to tackle the blaze, which has consumed 100% of the vehicle following a tyre blow out. 

Recovery of the goods being carried has been arranged by the HGV driver.
