Fire crews attend kitchen fire in Lavenham

Fire crews from Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury and Long Melford attended a fire in the kitchen of a terraced bungalow in Lavenham. 

Crews fought the fire using 3 hose reel jets and used breathing apparatus to protect against smoke. 

Colleagues from Suffolk Police also attended. 

One individual suffering from smoke inhalation was passed into the care of the Ambulance Service. 

 A stop to this incident was called at 3:49pm
