Non-statutory consultation to provide a new Primary School and Pre-School at North-West Haverhill

Our consultation on a proposal to provide a new Primary School, Pre-School and Small Community Centre Facility at North-West Haverhill, near Ann Suckling Road, Haverhill.

Suffolk County Council (SCC) is consulting on a proposal to provide a new 210-place (1 form of entry) Primary School and 30-place Pre-School. Alongside this school development, a small Community Centre Facility will be delivered as part of this proposal.

A drop-in session will be held at Haverhill Arts Centre, High Street, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 8AR on Wednesday 23 September 2026, 3:30pm - 6:30pm where plans will be displayed and representatives from Suffolk County Council, West Suffolk Council, Haverhill Town Council and Concertus will be available to discuss the proposal and answer questions.

This non-statutory pre-application planning consultation will enable us to gather the views of parents and local residents prior to the submission of the planning application. It does not affect the right to comment on the proposals during the statutory planning consultation process.
