If your child was born on or after 1 September 2020 they are too young for you to apply for a school place.

You must apply for a primary school place by 15 January 2024
You'll need to make an application even if your child is already attending a nursery class in a primary or infant school, a pre-school, or a family hub next to a school site.
This is because a place in a nursery class, pre-school or family hub does not guarantee your child a full-time place at that school.
According to their date of birth, your child should currently be in the Reception Year.
If you've recently moved or are unhappy with your child's school you can apply for a Reception Year place at a new school during the current school year (2023/2024).

If you've recently moved or are unhappy with your child's school you can apply for a Year 1 place at a new school during the current school year (2023/2024).
According to their date of birth, your child should currently be in Year 2.
You must apply for a place in Year 3 at another school if your child is currently in an infant school or in a primary school and you want them to transfer to a junior school.
