Nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) service

Details of services for children and young people with concerns about bedwetting and how to access continence products.

Changes to this service from 1 June 2026

From Monday 1 June 2026, the management of the Children in Care Health Team, Learning Disability Community Nursing Behavioural Support service, Continence Product and Enuresis (bedwetting) service will transfer from Suffolk County Council to West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.

There will be no changes to the services provided, and support will continue as normal.

Enuresis clinics are at Allington Clinic, Ipswich and Hardwick Children's Centre, Bury St Edmunds. 

  • Face to face appointments take place alongside telephone / video consultations.
  • You can contact the team by email  Enuresisteam@wsh.nhs.uk.  
  • We are currently sending correspondence to our patients by post / emails. 

Health Professional Referrals

  • We are able to accept referrals as normal, please follow the guidance in the Referral Process section.

The nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) service offers support for children and young people with nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) who are registered with a GP in the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB.
