Who is this course for?

Construction Operatives are skilled workers who performs a variety of tasks on construction sites to help build, maintain, and repair structures such as roads, buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. The role is often hands-on and physically demanding, and it can vary depending on the type of project and the employer. The Construction Operative Skills Bootcamp is a hands-on training course designed to equip you with the essential skills, certifications, and safety knowledge needed to thrive on-site. Over the course of this programme, you’ll gain practical experience and industry-recognised qualifications that prepare you for a wide range of roles in the construction sector and guarantee you an interview upon successful completion.

Who is eligible?

The programme is open to people that live or work within Norfolk or Suffolk.

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

  • are aged 19 or over,
  • have the right to work in the UK,
  • meet residency requirements (your provider will check this).

Companies will pay a small employer contribution.
