Sizewell C bursary fund

This Sizewell C bursary is open for applications from learners at Independent Training Providers (ITP).

The Sizewell C Skills Funds Bursary fund is aimed at supporting the removal of barriers to accessing training, support and employment pathways into Sizewell C and/or other local opportunities requiring similar skills for local people that have not reached the required entry level requirements or that need some support to successfully complete their course, particularly in areas of relative deprivation.

Learners who are training with an Independent Training Provider (ITP) and not one of Suffolk’s Further Education colleges (West Suffolk College, East Coast College or Suffolk New College) will be able to apply for a bursary of up to £1,000 to assist with accessing training. Students must have the support of their training provider.

The bursary fund for learners at Independent Training Providers will be administered by Suffolk County Council.

There is no minimum grant amount. The maximum grant amount per person is £2,000. Students who require grants of over £1,000 will need to apply via the Bursaries of Over £1,000 fund, directly to Suffolk County Council.
