A woman had to be cut free from her car after a collision with another vehicle left it on its roof in Newmarket.

The incident happened around 8.29am today (Wednesday September 16) in Studlands Park Avenue.

The 64-year-old woman was cut free by firefighters from the vehicle and left in the care of the ambulance service.

Two appliances from Newmarket, and one from Elmwsell, Mildenhall and Bury St Edmunds attended. An appliance from Cambridgeshire also attended.

The ambulance service reference number is 955 . Police also attended the incident and their reference number is 69.
