Grassland fire in Lowestoft

UPDATE 2:50pm - a stop was called at 2.22pm. No further resources are required to fight the fire, and one appliance has left the scene. 

UPDATE 1.39pm - good progress is being made fighting the fire.

Four appliances are currently attending - from Lowestoft South and Wrentham, and Great Yarmouth (Norfolk Fire and Rescue). 

Suffolk Fire and Rescue received multiple calls reporting fire and a large amount of smoke from a grassland fire off Harbour Road, Lowestoft. 

On arrival crews found an area of grassland and gorse approximately 150m x 75m well alight.
