Firefighters on scene at three-storey property

Firefighters from Ipswich East, Bury St Edmunds, Wickhambrook and Ixworth attended to assist paramedics and Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS). 

Appliances sent included two standard fire engines (Wickhambrook and Ipswich East), an enhanced rescue tender (Bury St Edmunds), a command support vehicle (Ixworth) and an aerial ladder platform (Ipswich East). 

Using a basket stretcher and three short extension ladders, firefighters helped transfer the casualty from first-floor scaffolding to ground level.

A stop was called at 11:37am.
