Fire in the open in close proximity to overhead powerlines

Crews from Bury St Edmunds and Elmswell have mobilised to a fire that has involved six acres of grassland. 

Due to the fire's proximity to overhead powerlines, UK Power Networks is also in attendance to inspect the cables. 

A fire appliance and enhanced rescue tender were sent from Bury St Edmunds, along with a fire appliance from Elmswell. 

A stop was called at 4:47pm.
