Fire fighters attend kitchen fire in a flat in Felixstowe

Fire fighters were called by neighbours to reports of smoke at a three-storey block of flats in Felixstowe. 

Upon arrival they identified the flat concerned and found the occupant unresponsive, they therefore forced entry into the flat. A fire in the oven was identified and extinguished using a high-pressure jet hose. The occupant was passed into the care of the Ambulance Service. 

Fans were used to ventilate the property of residual smoke, and colleagues from the police were on scene to secure the property. (Police Reference: 165)
