The male driver of a BMW 4 series was rescued by crews from Ipswich East and Princes Street.

The gentleman had attempted to driver through floodwater, but the car's engine had cut out at the deepest point.

Police were advised that the road was not passable.

The incident was stopped at 3:16pm and closed at 3:44pm.
