Building fire in Ashfield cum Thorpe

Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service was called at 6:25pm to a report of a building fire on Grove Land, Ashfield cum Thorpe.

Upon arrival crews found an out building, nearby trees, hedges and approximately three acres of stubble well alight.

At the height of the fire five appliances from Ipswich Princes Street, Saxmundham, Debenham, Needham Market and Stowmarket were in attendance. 

The fire was surrounded and brought under control at 7:05pm, allowing attendance to be reduced.

A stop notice was issued at 7.05pm.
