Animal rescue in Bramfield

Four crews were called to reports of two donkeys stuck in a pond.

On arrival, crews found the animals heavily stuck in mud. A plan to safely free the donkeys was put together, involving a vet at the scene.

With the support of the specialist Unimog vehicle and animal rescue equipment, both animals were successful released into the care of the owner and vet.

A stop was called at 12:57pm, signifying that no additional resources were required on scene.

In attendance were crews from Halesworth and Wrentham, along with two crews from Lowestoft South.
