Progress Power Station – Drax

Progress Power Station is a gas-powered electricity generation station capable of producing 299MW of electricity.

The project will include a new electrical connection via underground cables to the National Grid Electricity Transmission System.

The power station will be located in the area of Eye Airfield in Suffolk and the scheme will include a National Grid substation a new gas pipeline connection to bring natural gas to the power station.
