Heating oil

Funding has been provided to support low-income households with the cost of heating oil.

This funding is being delivered through the Crisis and Resilience Fund which is administered by the well-established Local Welfare Assistance Scheme (LWAS). If your household meets the below criteria and is reliant on heating oil, you may be entitled to a Heating Oil payment of up to £350.

This payment is designed to help with the increased cost of heating oil, based on the minimum standard delivery of 500 litres. It is intended as a contribution towards the cost of your heating oil, rather than covering the full amount.

Please only apply for this support if you require a heating oil delivery within the next 30 days. The payment is intended exclusively to help pay for heating oil, and any funds used for other purposes may be reclaimed by Suffolk County Council.

This payment is different to a Crisis Payment therefore you may be entitled to both funds. For more information visit the Crisis Payments page.
