IT Procurement services

Suffolk County Council provides two procurement services for schools and academies.

One for Local Authority (LA) Maintained schools who buy an Enhanced Support Package for MIS support and a second service which obtain quotes on behalf of Schools and Academies.

LA Maintained procurement service

Local Authority (LA) maintained schools who buy an Enhanced Support Package for MIS support can order hardware from the SCC IT service.

You can order:

Multimedia monitors
Admin PC
Windows 10 Workstation Admin Server
External DVD Writer
Mouse
Wireless mouse
Keyboard
Monitor cables
Printers.

SCC Procurement service for schools and academies

The SCC procurement team can obtain quotes on behalf of Schools/Academies who buy into the Procurement service using the Frameworks in place for ICT and AV equipment. The team do not get involved in the purchase of the equipment for the administration servers and PC’s as LA Maintained schools can purchase these through SCC where they buy into the Enhanced Support Package for MIS support, see above.
