Cost of certificates

We can provide certificates for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that took place in Suffolk.

If the event took place outside of Suffolk, please contact the Register Service in the respective county.

  • The cost per certificate is £12.50.
  • We aim to process certificates within 5 working days.
  • An Express Certificate Service is available, with certificates processed and dispatched Royal Mail 1st class the same working day, if ordered by 11am. The additional fee is £38.50.
  • All certificates are 'certified copies'. Certified copies are recognised by all banks, embassies and public institutions.
