Details on the proposed TRO to prohibit waiting on parts of Kempson Way and Skyliner Way, adjacent to the Suffolk Park development

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF ST EDMUNDSBURY) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (MAP-BASED) ORDER 2019 (BURY ST EDMUNDS) (4U1557 KEMPSON WAY AND C769 SKYLINER WAY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (VARIATION NO. 15) ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council is proposing new lengths of No Waiting at Any Time on parts of Kempson Way and Skyliner Way, adjacent to the Suffolk Park development in Bury St Edmunds. A Traffic Regulation Order is required to give effect to the prohibition of waiting currently marked by double yellow lines on site.

Suffolk Park is a major employment site in the Bury St Edmunds area and is occupied by a range of businesses and industries. The proposals are required to keep the roads, junctions and accesses clear of parked vehicles with the purpose of facilitating the passage of traffic and avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road.

Should you wish to provide a formal representation, either objecting or in support of these proposals, please refer to the attached Notice.

Objections or any other representations related to the proposed waiting restrictions, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must reach Aishah Siddika (Suffolk County Council Legal Services) at the address below or at Aishah.Siddika@suffolk.gov.uk not later than 5 December 2023. Please bear in mind that any such correspondence cannot be regarded as confidential and may be inspected by any interested party.
