SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF IPSWICH) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019 (IPSWICH) (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (VARIATION NO. 29) ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council is proposing a new Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) associated with the Hayhill residential development, on land to the north of Woodbridge Road, Ipswich.

The TRO proposes new lengths of No Waiting at Any Time to give effect to the double yellow lines that were introduced in Braeburn Close, Discovery Drive, Ellisons Crescent, Meridian Rise and Pearmain Lane during the construction of the development.

At the Meridian Rise turning head, the double yellow lines on the south side of the road outside Nos. 143 -153, will also be extended a nominal distance to terminate directly opposite those on the north side. In Hayhill Road, the existing single yellow line representing No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm between Nos. 13 and 15 Hayhill Road will be upgraded to No Waiting at Any Time.

The purpose of these measures is to prohibit parking at all times, in order to facilitate the passage of traffic.
