The following tools can be used for you to assess your child or young person's continence needs. 

Reward charts are a good way to help reinforce success and positive well being.

ERIC's Help with toileting webpage provides a number of visual aids that may be helpful for prompting children to go to the toilet or potty. 

These may be useful for children who have communication difficulties or are still learning to communicate.
