The Incredible Years Program for Parents and Carers with Toddlers

Promotes Sensitive and Responsive Parenting over 10 weekly sessions including:

• Introducing child-directed play that promotes positive relationships and attachment
• Promoting toddler’s language development
• Promoting toddler’s social and emotional competence through coaching
• Providing praise and encouragement and celebrating joy together
• Handling Separations and Reunions
• Implementing positive discipline and effective limit setting
• Helping toddlers learn to self-regulate
• Safety proofing homes
• Exploring and sharing experiences and knowledge.

Trained incredible years facilitators use video clips of real life vignettes to support training and stimulate parenting discussions and problem solving practices.
