Sizewell C Skills Fund

This Sizewell C Bursary is open for applications from learners at Independent Training Providers.

The Sizewell C Skills Fund Bursary helps local people overcome barriers to training and employment. It supports those who don’t yet meet entry requirements or who need extra help to complete their course, especially in areas facing higher levels of deprivation. The goal is to open up pathways into Sizewell C or other local jobs requiring similar skills.

Learners training with an Independent Training Provider, rather than one of Suffolk’s FE colleges, can apply for a bursary of up to £1,000 to help them access training. Applications must be supported by their training provider.

Suffolk County Council will manage the bursary fund for learners at Independent Training Providers.

There is no minimum grant amount. The maximum grant amount per person is £2,000. Students who require grants of over £1,000 will need to apply via the Bursaries of Over £1,000 fund, directly to Suffolk County Council.
