Chemical spill in Bury St Edmunds

Specialist hazardous materials procedures were implemented, with crews using breathing apparatus to safely ventilate the building and dilute the chemical spill.

Partner agencies including the Police, Environment Agency and the UK Health and Safety Executive were informed.
