Risbygate Street in Bury St Edmunds

The trial at this location improves the cycle provision on Risbygate Street.

This is achieved by introducing a lightly segregated mandatory cycle lane on the north side of the road from the junction with Parkway to the junction with St Andrews Street (North).

If the trial is a success it will form part of a route for cyclists on the key east-west corridor in Bury St Edmunds from Newmarket Road, through to Risbygate Street, Brentgovel Street, Looms Lane and onto Northgate Street.

Suffolk County Council invited feedback on how the trial is working but the deadline was 24 September and the survey has now closed. All views will be taken into account when deciding upon future actions.
