East Anglia Two

East Anglia Two is a consented offshore windfarm of up to 75 turbines located 37km from Lowestoft and 32 km from Southwold.

The scheme will make landfall north of Thorpeness where transition bays will connect to a new onshore substation. Underground cables will connect to a new National Grid substation, which in turn will connect to the electricity transmission network using existing overhead lines.

The Development Consent Order (DCO) for the project was granted jointly with East Anglia One in March 2022.
