House fire in two-storey mid-terrace home on Broom Hill Rd.

Three fire engines have been mobilised - one from Princes Street and two from Ipswich East - to attend a house fire on Broomhill Road, Ipswich. 

Upon arrival, all occupants of the home were out of the property and unharmed. 

Crews are using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Crews have extinguished the fire and are using positive pressure ventilation; high-powered fans that introduce fresh air into a building at a controlled point (usually an entry door) to force out smoke, heat and toxic gases. 

Checks for fire spread and smoke have been carried out on the adjoining properties on either side, with both properties declared unaffected. 

A stop was called at 12:36 signalling that no further resources would be required.
