Fire Crews extinguish barn fire in Drinkstone

Fire crews were called to a barn fire in Drinkstone during the early hours of Saturday morning.

On arrival, crews were faced with a large barn measuring approximately 50 metres by 25 metres, with around 30% of the structure involved in fire. Two tractors were also involved within the barn. Firefighters utilised a high reach jet and a 45mm jet to tackle the fire. 

The incident was brought under control and later extinguished, with crews ensuring the area was made safe.
