Fire crews attend caravan fire in Nacton

Fire crews have been called to a caravan fire on Priory Park near Nacton.  

The static caravan is well alight, and a gas cylinder has exploded as a result of the blaze.  The fire had spread into neighbouring caravans.

Crews from Ipswich East, Princes Street and Woodbridge are in attendance with 3 hose reel jets in use, and the fire has now been contained to a single caravan. 

Colleagues from the ambulance service are also on scene (reference 2378) assisting with 1 person with smoke inhalation.
