Domestic fire in Haverhill

Three appliances, two from Haverhill and one from Clare, were mobilised to a fire following a call from the homeowners who heard a loud explosion. 

Upon arrival, all occupants were out of the property and accounted for. 

The fire, which had taken hold in a garage attached to the bungalow, had spread to an adjoining property. Crews used breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets and one 45mm covering jet to tackle the blaze. 

A stop was called at 03:58am, signalling that no further resources were required at the scene, and the incident was closed at 05:51am.
