Building fire in Bures St Mary

Crews attended a fire in a barn in Bures St Mary.

The barn was approximately 10m x 20m in size, and was fully involved in the fire.

Crews used two hose reel jets and two main jets to deal with the fire.

There are no reports of any casualties.

The incident was stopped at 8:42am, with some crews remaining on scene to dampen down.

Until the incident is fully concluded, local residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed until the incident is fully concluded, and traffic is recommended to avoid the area if possible - there is low lying smoke to the weather conditions.
