Our pre-application planning consultation on a proposal to expand IES Breckland School to 600 places closed on Tuesday 27 April 2021.

This consultation has now closed.

Suffolk County Council (SCC) consulted on a proposal to expand IES Breckland School.  The proposal includes a new standalone two storey teaching block and reconfiguration of areas within the existing buildings.  External changes include improved parking.  The proposed expansion increases capacity from 500 pupils to 600 pupils, scheduled for September 2022.

This non-statutory pre-application planning consultation will enable us to gather the views of parents and local residents prior to the submission of the planning application. It does not affect the right to comment on the proposals during the statutory planning consultation process.
