Who is this course for?

This course supports a job role within the visitor economy sector, at levels 2 and 3.

What will you learn?

Learners can expect to learn a variety of skills that support a job role within the visitor economy sector; focusing on soft, green and digital skills. There are eight key elements that will then make up the UK hospitality skills passport. This includes the following:

  1. Employability skills (motivation, team building, CV writing).
  2. Local ambassadors (civic pride).
  3. Principles of customer service.
  4. Inclusive service and unconscious bias.
  5. Food hygiene, first aid, and health and safety.
  6. Carbon literacy and sustainability in the workplace.
  7. Essential digital skills.

Who is eligible?

The programme is open to people that live or work within Norfolk or Suffolk.

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

  • are aged 19 or over,
  • have the right to work in the UK,
  • meet residency requirements (your provider will check this).

Companies will pay a small employer contribution.
