Who is this course for?
Becoming a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or Retrofit Assessor opens the door to a rewarding career at the forefront of the UK’s journey to net-zero. DEAs assess the energy efficiency of homes, providing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) that inform homeowners and buyers about a property’s energy rating. Retrofit Assessors take this a step further, conducting detailed assessments of homes to support tailored retrofitting plans that enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints.
These roles are in high demand, offering excellent job stability, the opportunity to make a positive environmental impact, and the satisfaction of helping homeowners save money on energy bills while contributing to sustainable living.
