House fire, 2 people rescued, Ipswich

Two people were rescued by firefighters from the first floor of a house in Croft Street after a fire broke out in the lounge on the ground floor. The pair were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation. 

The stop was called at 1.29am. 

Multiple rooms in the property have been left badly smoke damaged. 

Two pumps from Princes Street and one from Ipswich East attended.
