Barn fire in Occold

Firefighters from Suffolk and Norfolk put out a fire in a disused agricultural barn containing propane cylinders at a property in Occold, near Eye. A large smoke plume was visible as crews approached the scene, and on arrival they found the 10 metre by 5 metre building well alight. Crews put out the fire and cooled the cylinders, using hose reel jets, personal protective equipment and cordons. The incident ended at 6:11pm.
