The Adult Learning Service

We have a contract with the Education and Skills Funding Agency, to provide a range of adult learning opportunities across Suffolk.

Discover a love of learning with our inspirational range of courses. Choose from hundreds of courses designed to gain new skills, help improve your wellbeing and move towards employment. Courses are available for all ages, from 19 years and above.

We can help you with course fees, concessions and learning support - you may be eligible to take the courses for free!

If you are new to online learning or don’t have equipment to access online courses, speak to our provider and they’ll see what we can do to support you to get started.

We subcontract to a range of local providers to ensure those most in need of learning have access to the right course.

For further information on all of our subcontracted provision please visit our website: LearnSuffolk.org .

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Latest update:  In the Summer Term 2021 some courses will return to the classroom, in line with government guidelines.
Please contact your provider to receive more information about how they are continuing to deliver learning.

A learner at Realise Futures said:

“I am so glad I was able to attend the course and have such an enthusiastic caring tutor because those weeks I spent working with you have changed my entire future and ignited a passion I never knew I had. I am now a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.”

We are a positive force in our community enabling people to enhance their learning and employment goals! You can also email skills@suffolk.gov.uk.

Our Adult Learning programme is supported by ESF funding.
