Staff Appointments Committee

This Committee meets on demand and includes one member of the Cabinet.

It appoints the following officers of the County Council:

• Joint Chief Executive (Head of Paid Service)
• Joint Chief Executive, Local Government Re-organisation, Devolution, Transformation and Change
• Executive Director of Growth, Highways and Infrastructure
• Chief Fire Officer
• Executive Director for Children and Young People's Services
• Executive Director of Adult Social Care
• Executive Director of Public Health, Communities and Public Safety
• Deputy Chief Fire Officer
• Chief Financial Officer (Section 151 Finance Officer)
• Assistant Director (Governance, Legal & Assurance) (Monitoring Officer)

The membership of this committee may alter depending on the appointment being considered. Membership at each meeting will be listed on the agenda.

There will be five Committee Members. This will consist of 3 Reform UK Group Councillors, 1 Green Group Councillor and 1 Conservative Councillor.
