How to apply
Before you start
To complete the application you need to:
- live in or are moving to Suffolk
- understand that your information will be shared confidentiality with other relevant organisations (find out more in our privacy notice)
- have the persons agreement if you’re applying on their behalf
You'll need to answer questions about:
- your current housing situation
- any financial issues contributing towards your housing problem
- your mental and physical health
- drug and alcohol use
- offending history
The answers help us identify the support you need and directs you to alternative support.
It’s important that you tell the truth. Any errors will delay your application.
If you need help filling in the form, ask your:
- housing association
- support agency
- professional that you're working with
- family or friends
- district or borough council

Proceed to apply
You can apply for housing related support online.
Give yourself enough time to apply
It takes up to 30 minutes to complete this application.
For security reasons the form will timeout after 45 minutes.
You’re not able to save your progress and come back to it later.
Update an existing application
Do not re-apply to update your application. This will delay your existing application.

After you apply
We’ll use the information you’ve provided to decide what type of support you might need.
If you need support where you currently live
Your information will be given to our community support provider Home Group.
They'll contact you as soon as possible to complete an in-depth assessment looking at your housing needs and how they can support you.
If you need support in supported accommodation
You'll be added to our waiting list.
One of our accommodation providers will contact you if a place becomes available.
Your information will be given to our community support provider Home Group. They'll contact you if they can help you while you’re waiting for accommodation.
Due to high demand we can’t guarantee support accommodation for everyone on the waiting list.

It’s quicker and easier to apply online.
