If you live in one of the locations shown in the table below, you can apply to your district council for a waiver to access or park near to your property.
These schemes aim to give you a fair chance of parking close to residents' homes. However, they do not guarantee a parking space.

Please note: Only 1 waiver per household will be issued for East Street, Sudbury and New Street, Woodbridge.
An administration charge applies for waivers.
Apply for a residential waiver
If you are applying for a waiver for Acton Square and East Street, Sudbury please contact West Suffolk Council and for the other locations listed above, please contact East Suffolk Council.
These waivers are renewed annually. If you have a waiver it is your responsibility to ensure your waiver remains current and clearly displayed in the front left-hand side of your windscreen.
When your waiver is due for renewal, please make sure your request is received in time for a new waiver to be issued before the old one expires.
