Statutory Proposal to Enlarge the Premises at Elmswell Community Primary School

Determination of our Statutory Proposal to increase the capacity of Elmswell Community Primary School.

On 1 September 2021 the Local Authority considered and approved the proposal as published subject to the grant of planning permission.

This means that (subject to the grant of planning permission) the capacity of the school will increase from 315 places to 420 places, and the PAN from 45 to 60, from 1 September 2022.

The reason for this decision is to provide additional school places to meet demand from housing in the school’s catchment area which already has planning approval.
