Michelle's school governor story

Michelle was new to her area and looking for a way into the community. Michelle applied to be a governor and was able to put her HR skills into a local school. Michelle was nervous about starting the role and fitting in with a team of established governors, but this wasn’t the case. Michelle found it easy to work with the team and has since made a lot of friends as a result. Michelle now knows a lot more about schools and education and appreciated how important it is to get it right.
